They've become true sisters who have one another's backs, no matter what. They've become true warriors adept at saving the world, while still having every day doubts, hopes, and dreams. I'd forgotten just how much I enjoyed the series (And just how much fans of Percy Jackson will also be beyond enchanted and enthralled!) and how much I'd missed the characters.Īru Shah and her friends/sisters have grown so much since the first book. (And I think I may do a series overview as well, because this series is incredible and deserves that.) As I read each book, I got more and more immersed in the world. This past month, I re-read all of the early Aru Shah books and then read the ones I was behind on, concluding my binge with the series finale ARU SHAH AND THE NECTAR OF IMMORTALITY.
